This is from the other day and I thought I would throw it online real quick. I am finishing up with Mary and Ryan as well as Lindsey and Bill so those will be up and running shortly.

I hope you like this image. When I told Tina and Skip that I was going to photograph them in front of a crappy old barn with a martini in their hand, they were both totally up for it. I know they were skeptical at first, I know I would have been.

Another cool couple...

Holy crap!

I am so honored to be able to photograph the coolest couples on the planet. Last night I shot an engagement session with Tina and Skip and we had a fantastic time. Of course, when I got home I had to pull 5 or 6 thorns out of my leg since I seem to find it necessary to stand in a thicket in order to get my shot. I am getting really spoiled with my couples. If you are cool couple or know of a cool couple, feel free to call.

Nonetheless, we had a great time. I fell on my ass once, taught Skip how to use my camera, had a quick karate lesson (good job Tina!), and got photos of Tina doing things that you will never, ever see on this blog. (Cash, check or money orders accepted!)

Lindsey and Bill Engagement Session

Last week I got a chance to hang out with Lindsey and Bill and shoot some photos for them. We ran around Concord for a bit and they were great sports and up for anything. The weather was great and they were both lookin' gooooood!

Mary and Ryan

Sooooooooooo,

last night was fantastic. Mary and Ryan got married last night and it was an amazingly fun time. It was a bit of a whirl-wind as well. They got in town on Wednesday, ran around on Thursday, Thursday night we shot their (awesome!) engagement session in uptown Charlotte and then the wedding was on Saturday at The Palisades Country Club. Needless to say, the past few days were very busy.

The wedding was gorgeous. Mary was stunning and Ryan was looking pretty hot too! (If you scroll back a few entries, you can see the photos that we shot the day we met.)

I had a great time meeting everyone and was honored to be part of the day. More photos will be posted soon.

Ice Cream Thief...

Sooooooooooo,

yesterday I had a chance (finally) to get out and shoot some engagement photos of Lindsey and Bill. What a great couple! We ran all around the sprawling metropolis of Concord. In the gardens, up the alley, behind a dumpster in a field and a brief stop for ice cream. Hey, being a super model is tough business!

So, we are hangin' out when Bill gets a chance to contemplate his flavor choice. He chose strawberry but I think he really wanted vanilla. He actually paid me to distract her so that he could get lick (or six!).

There were a ton of great photos and I will post a few of them shortly but I really liked this one. Fun stuff, fun photo, very fun couple!

Can't wait for the wedding but I am NOT climbing any embankments or trailblazing through the world's largest thicket bush again!

My Dogs are Nuts! (well, nuts and chews at least)

So, it was recently my wife's birthday and one of her sisters sent her a box of See's Candy. The Nuts and Chews are her favorite. Well, before she had a chance to try them, somebody (?) decided that they should rip open the box and enjoy themselves. I swear, when I got home they were all sitting around smoking a cigarette.

I know, chocalate is really bad for dogs but the amount of chocolate to dog weight makes it ok.

Scooter!

How do you not love a little dog like this?! This is Scooter and he belongs to my neighbors acroos the street. This little beast is the mascot of their insurance office and with him running around I am not sure how they are able to get any work done.

Nonetheless...cute dog, good folks!

Snow Day!

So, we got a little dusting of snow the other day and I would like to thank the Charlotte-Mecklenberg school system for giving my wife the day off.

So, I decided to shoot a photo or two even though it was a bit cold out. Of course today there is no more snow and we are expecting a high of 58!

Yesterday's E-Session

I can't wait for Angela and Steffon's wedding! We did their engagement session yesterday and had a great time. A little running around the city never hurt anybody. Nonetheless, I will post some photos soon. I will try to get it done today but my "honey-do" list is a little large today.

Wow! I can't belive how long it has been since I last posted. I have decide to make it a point to attempt to scribble at least something once a week. Who knows, I might even post a photo or two once in a while.

Well, the holidays were grand. Santa brought me an electric massage chair thingie and I haven't gotten up since. Trust me...get one of these!

Fun session yesterday!

Yes it has been a while since I posted and as I have had several complaints from a few addicts, here you are.

SO,

yesterday I met with Mary and Ryan. How cool are they?! (And Ryan's Mom rocks, too!) We had a chance to hang out a bit at the world famous Panera Bread and then we went of to shoot a few photos. It was a bit hot but we found some shade and made the best of it. Tons of great photos and I threw a few into a collage. They are getting married here next year but they are from Minneapolis so we took advantage of them being in town. Now, while I would like to think that they are coming here so that I can shoot their wedding, they keep giving me the excuse that Ryan's parents live nearby. I guess they don't want me to get a big head!

Nonetheless, I had a great time meeting you both!

Wedding Today...

This one is on a yacht in Marina del Rey with Andrea and Corey. Sorry, no Winston today!!

It should be a great time except one thing...lots of stairs and your's truly tore a ligament in his knee on Sunday. So, I now have a second, second shooter. Special thanks go out to Louis and Susan for helping out.

We are gonna have fun. I just hope I don't fall off the ship!! (save the camera!!!!)

I MADE IT!!!!

So, I arrived at the new house on Wednesday and was I ever happy to get there. Three and a half days and 2,500 miles is a long time with three crazy dogs. Luckily, we got into a bit of a groove and we had a deal. I would drive and they would sleep. We tried it the other way for a while but Homer kept getting speeding tickets. What are ya gonna do?!

My new internet will be up and running on Tuesday so until then I will find my way over to the good folks at Panera Bread and take advantage of their FREE Wi-Fi.

Soooo...

My email access is a bit limited so stand fast and I will be with you next week.
