I hear ya!

Wow! I can't belive how long it has been since I last posted. I have decide to make it a point to attempt to scribble at least something once a week. Who knows, I might even post a photo or two once in a while.

Well, the holidays were grand. Santa brought me an electric massage chair thingie and I haven't gotten up since. Trust me...get one of these!

Fun session yesterday!

Yes it has been a while since I posted and as I have had several complaints from a few addicts, here you are.

SO,

yesterday I met with Mary and Ryan. How cool are they?! (And Ryan's Mom rocks, too!) We had a chance to hang out a bit at the world famous Panera Bread and then we went of to shoot a few photos. It was a bit hot but we found some shade and made the best of it. Tons of great photos and I threw a few into a collage. They are getting married here next year but they are from Minneapolis so we took advantage of them being in town. Now, while I would like to think that they are coming here so that I can shoot their wedding, they keep giving me the excuse that Ryan's parents live nearby. I guess they don't want me to get a big head!

Nonetheless, I had a great time meeting you both!

Wedding Today...

This one is on a yacht in Marina del Rey with Andrea and Corey. Sorry, no Winston today!!

It should be a great time except one thing...lots of stairs and your's truly tore a ligament in his knee on Sunday. So, I now have a second, second shooter. Special thanks go out to Louis and Susan for helping out.

We are gonna have fun. I just hope I don't fall off the ship!! (save the camera!!!!)

I MADE IT!!!!

So, I arrived at the new house on Wednesday and was I ever happy to get there. Three and a half days and 2,500 miles is a long time with three crazy dogs. Luckily, we got into a bit of a groove and we had a deal. I would drive and they would sleep. We tried it the other way for a while but Homer kept getting speeding tickets. What are ya gonna do?!

My new internet will be up and running on Tuesday so until then I will find my way over to the good folks at Panera Bread and take advantage of their FREE Wi-Fi.

Soooo...

My email access is a bit limited so stand fast and I will be with you next week.

Too little time!

I know, I know...

I haven't posted for a while...sorry. So, yesterday was a blast. We did an engagement shoot up at Leo Carillo State Beach with Andrea and Corey and their big (BIG) beast of a dog WINSTON. At about 210lbs, he is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. Of course, if he decided that it was time to lie down, then, it was time to lie down!

Nonetheless, we had a fantastic time but by the time I got home I was pooped. OK, stopping off for some Thai food didn't get us home any faster but it sure did hit the spot. I will get some photos posted soon but I am still in the "house selling mode."

Yesterday...

So, yesterday, I braved the semi-crappy weather and shot the Fun and Games Agility Class that Penny Scott-Fox runs. It is always a good time and the dogs really enjoy it. And, it is just for fun. After that, I went to shoot baby Jack. He is soooo tiny and was rather cute for most of the time. There was only one or two times that he decided that he wasn't going to cooperate. I went and got some coffee and his mommy gave him a snack.

More frequent flyer miles!

Hola all!

I am happy to announce that I will be shooting the wedding of Andrea and Corey in September. It is going to be in Marina del Rey on a yacht! Undoubtedly we will get some awesome photos. They are such good sports. They also agreed to get dressed up again on Sunday for an all out photo excursion without the hassels and time constraints from the night before.

I will have already moved but the trip will be fantastic.

Long weekends end too early also!

What a great weekend! I second shot a wedding with Jesse Cova. He is a fantastic photographer in Los Angeles and it is always a pleasure to work with him. A long day indeed though. The 'getting ready' shots started at 8:00am and we got back to his house at about 11:30pm...UGH!

Well, at least there was a cold beer waiting in the refridgerator when we got there! (Thanks Claudia!)

A few BBQs on Sunday and Monday and that was the end of that.

So today is more work on the house that we are selling. (Hey anybody wanna buy a house? I'll give ya good deal!)

New BLOG off and running!

Greetings all!!

So, here is the 'new' blog site. I was using Xanga but decided I liked this better so...here we are.

As many of you know, I was just in North Carolina shooting the wedding of Ben and Kati. Let me tell you, what an awesome couple! I hadn't met them (except via email and phone) until the Thursday before their wedding. I showed up, we talked for a bit while waiting for the sun to poke it's head out and them we shot their engagement session. It was a busy weekend but I had a great time. Their parents were equally awesome and gracious hosts.
