Fun Times Yet Again!

So, last month I had the opportunity to shoot the wedding of Jennell and Jeremy at the Cabarrus Country Club. It was a lot of fun and a real treat to be able to have everything all in one place. The nice thing is, nobody got lost going from the ceremony to the reception! The food and service were quite nice and Alica did a great job.

And, they have the coolest tree just outside on the golf course. Jennell was a real trooper considering it snowed during the day and it was 10pm when I got them outside. Even I was cold but we got the photograph. Of course, my assistant just about killed himself when the chair that he was standing on gave way.

The blog may crash...

With the new website on the way it may be the case that it kills the blog. Stand fast, like I said, the new blog is just around the corner.

New BLOG is just around the corner!

Greetings all.

Well, I finally bit the bullet and am having a new blog constructed. It should be up and running in a week or so and I will post the new address here. I promise to spend a lot more time on it as I have been very neglectful of this one.

Also, I have a new website that will be available for your viewing pleasure as well in the next week or so. I have changed hosting companies so it may be the case that I will have to re-publish all of my current slideshows. So, if you go to see your "masterpiece" and it is not available, let me know and I will make sure that it is on the list to be published again.

Last and First (in that order!)

This was the last wedding of 2007 and my first entry for 2008. This wedding was a great time. I know I say that all the time but it is true. Tons of fun but I just realized that I didn't try the cake. Perhaps at my next wedding I will eat two pieces!

Extravaganza Depot and their crew did an awesome job as always.

Dani and Jason, thank you both for including me in one of the special occasions in your life. I am sure that we will be friends for a long time.

At the Beach Again!

This wedding was fantastic!

The couple was great, the weather fantastic, and everything was perfect. I met Tina and Skip the day that we shot their engagement session and we hit it off immediately. They were a joy, a true joy to photograph and it was a real pleasure to meet all of their friends and family.

Thank for letting me be part of your day and making me part of your life. It is always a treat when my "clients" become my friends.

Hilton Head, SC

I had an opportunity to go to Hilton Head and shoot one of the coolest couples. OK, all of my couples totally rock but these two were fantastic. I met Kim and Scott and we hit it off right away. The wedding was gorgeous and they were up at 7:00 AM the next morning to go play in the Ocean.

Good stuff...

Snowballs are melting!

You know how it is when you get really busy, get behind, and can't catch up? It is like a giant snowball that keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Well...it turns out that the "Snowballs from HELL" are beginning to melt!

Annie and Mark...

Had a great wedding in Charlotte and their reception was at the Mint Museum of Craft and Design.
It was catered by La Tea Da's and I have to say they did a great job. It was a great time.

Wedding from 1973...(Practically)

I photographed Sarah and Stephen's wedding about 100 years ago and had not gotten their slideshow up and running. Thanks for hangin' in their you two.

Nonetheless, the slideshow will be up today so that the whole world can see what a fun couple they are and what an awesome wedding they had.

I'm not sure...

...how this happened. All I know is that I was out at The Saratoga Springs shooting a wedding with Ron and Vanessa Beaver of Universal Photo-Cam and the next thing I know, this happens. This guy was some random guest at the wedding but he turned out to be super cool. I am just glad that we were both able to remove the corks!

Talk about LAZY!

I have been such a lazy butt lately and I think I have decided to blame it on the heat. Of course, that doesn't do too much good considering I was in Key West all last week. I can assure you that I was working every single day I was there but I was internet limited (to say the least). That set me back a bit.

One of the things I was going to upload was a slide-show from Carron and Terry. Yet another totally cool couple. Nonetheless, here ya go and stay coooooool!

UPDATE!

Well...

Here is the update. I was able to get the files that I need from my hard drive crash. It took a while but I was able to recover the images that I needed and Ryan is a happy camper.

Here is one of the images. It is straight out of the camera and I think it looks awesome. The guys will surely love it and I know Mary will.

Stay tuned for two new wedding slideshows---Lindsey and Bill, and Carron and Terry. Those will be up and running in the next few days.

I hope you like this image. When I told Tina and Skip that I was going to photograph them in front of a crappy old barn with a martini in their hand, they were both totally up for it. I know they were skeptical at first, I know I would have been.

Another cool couple...

Holy crap!

I am so honored to be able to photograph the coolest couples on the planet. Last night I shot an engagement session with Tina and Skip and we had a fantastic time. Of course, when I got home I had to pull 5 or 6 thorns out of my leg since I seem to find it necessary to stand in a thicket in order to get my shot. I am getting really spoiled with my couples. If you are cool couple or know of a cool couple, feel free to call.

Nonetheless, we had a great time. I fell on my ass once, taught Skip how to use my camera, had a quick karate lesson (good job Tina!), and got photos of Tina doing things that you will never, ever see on this blog. (Cash, check or money orders accepted!)
